My name is Bruce Binhslee Ly Jr but for the past 15 + years I have been working under the name BJ Panda Bear. My experience started with nightlife and DJing, eventually leading to work with H&M, Nokia, Absolut Vodka and various other activations. It was in this time I maintained a blog on my outings which would lead me into the path of journalism with a cultural slant attributed to my education in sociology with a touch of art history. 

I soon entered work with People Magazine and Entertainment Weekly as a producer when they first launched the web forward platform Instant.me. In a years time and 2 sessions at Vidcon focusing on YouTubers and the era of the Tik Tokers, I also found time for extra writings focused on higher culture contributing to i-D Magazine, their Luxury channel Amuse as well as Playboy and Paper Magazine. 

Following that experience I spent 2 years with Flaunt Magazine as their Web Editor, this experience was a true boot camp in understanding production as well as leaning into my social and professional connections. 

These all converged in my recent life as I took on work which fulfilled those notions in the tapestry of the image. From ideation to production to the copy to the press events and coverage, I have been able to cultivate a full rounded grasp of the industry from a high to low culture vantage point. I know when best to push the envelope and when to pull back.
