A chill Monday lead me to a chance encounter with an unusual situation N ∆ R picked me up and and had initially planned an outing to teddys... once there we were ironically rejected at the door, for her butchness and my lack of brawniness... we headed to the dark room which was so fun and chill...

on Wednesday. The stars lined up and the world felt like a Madonna video. There was such a huge diversity tonight when I went to Bardot. The tribal vibe got my head wrapped around the smoking patio the night continued to feel like Batman and Robin, we all had a blast, Danielle Reuther played a mixed group of dance and rock for the 90's and the night ended with Edie playing a vinyl set...

Thursday Mama Ana Calderon hooked it up with the show and party for La Roux that she and Paul tao helped host at Club Nokia… It was my first time there and my second time to see La Roux. They put on an amazing show. That night I finally meet Anas management who I had been trading work emails for nearly a year now. I also got to see the Paul and my friends boyfriends Chris under a working light. It was odd to being in relatively a similar setting while maintaing a corporate setting… after the show I briefly ran up to the ViP lounge for final good bye before I ran off to Tea Room.

I was ready to rock at Tea Room where the music blurred and the crowd was awfully dark I loved it amazon 5 teas in and I was spinning around it was a fun night packed with Rock and Rolling

Needless to say the next morning was a harsh hang over… the night came quick and I lounged around in bed like some kind of dazed scene from Beyond the Valleys of the Dolls until my friend Tim got me at nearly 1 we went back to his place where he go ready and we ran to Ted's where yet again twice in one we it became a hassle the door had already loosed at 1:45 and the piano bar was done. So I held up at the smoking patio fortunately with a 4th of a pint… after we all headed to celebrate Greko's birthday at 101.

Saturday was a drunken session of band practice at the linden house, later that day we found out that we were playing the surprise party at freak city. thinking there would only be a few people and an open bar we were ready for the night. Later before the show I stopped by another birthday Dani held her birthday at the woods. I briefly ran in for about 6 minutes before leaving… It was way to intense to be in such a setting that was so abrupt to my new waved gothy look that would be too sure to get harasses we left and mad it to the madhouse at freak city where the midnight had passed with delicious vinyls own Rick Ross' birthday another birthday passed having arrived at nearly 1 we waited and partied then 2 passes and after a 3 we decided that the crayness that night would not chill out it was time to retire, I was glad we didn't perform since our set was not fully perfected.

It was Sunday soon and by happenstance everything fell together right 2007 was about to be resuscitated. The night began with a hello and a vodka soda at the dark room for Samantha Sam's birthday.

Robzy picked me up and we went together to the newly Dim Mak sponsored night that was like some second coming of Banana Split Sundays, only this time around it was at Drais, but Danny was still at the door. It was like old time everyone there drunk and silly… it was good to experience a truly good time of care free self indulgence with out the pending pressures of scene-y expectations.

The DTLA Pow Wow is an event series showcasing art, music, & community.

The first of the series will take place on a Saturday, July 24, from 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m, within the eclectic and eccentric Downtown, Los Angeles. This festival features 15+ musical acts, local artists, cra...fters, food trucks from local restaurateurs and various interesting tidbits in the Arts District area and surrounding communities.
